Scenic Tours to Minaret Vista
Enjoy the heated comfort of a luxury snowcat tour up to one of Mammoth’s most scenic spots where you can take in the spectacular views of Mammoth Mountain, the Minarets, Ritter Range and beyond. At the vista, toast to the landscape and enjoy a spread of delicious eats. Each snowcat holds up to 12 people.
All tours are approximately two hours, offered Friday through Sunday and daily during peak holiday weeks. Choose from a Mid-Day Tour at 11:30 AM or an Aprés Tour at 3:00 PM. Child tickets are available for ages 12 and under.

Snowcat Tours10400 Minaret RoadMammoth Lakes, CA 93546See on mapPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time in the lobby of the Mammoth Mountain Inn. There will be a "Meet Here" sign in the lobby and your Snowcat driver to greet you. Mammoth Mountain Inn is located adjacent to Main Lodge.
We recommend using public transportation and taking the Red Line to Main Lodge. If you would like to drive, free parking is available in the Main Lodge lots. Mammoth Mountain Inn parking lots are reserved for hotel guests only. There is also priority parking directly in front of Main Lodge for an extra cost.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
It is always best to wear warm layers, including gloves, warm head wear and a jacket. Weatherproof pants are also recommended. The weather on Minaret Vista can change quickly and without warning.
IF I HAVE AN ALLERGY OR FOOD INTOLERANCE, CAN THE OFFERINGS BE CHANGED WITH NOTICE?
Unfortunately, there is a set menu for each Snowcat tour that cannot be altered.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?
There is no minimum age requirement to participate in the Snowcat tours.
ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
Yes. Space is limited, and reservations must be made online or by calling 800.MAMMOTH a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
All Snowcat Tour reservations are subject to cancellation if the 6 guest minimum is not met for that time slot. If this happens, all guests with reservations will be contacted directly.
