Get ready for a thrilling adventure as you embrace your inner tobogganist on the Mountain Coaster. With a total ride length of 5,455 feet, this exhilarating journey is an absolute blast, featuring segments of straightaways, exciting curves, and heart-pounding twisters. As you zip through the mountain terrain, you'll conquer two exciting circles and rise to sections as high as 30 feet off the ground, all while enjoying speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. Take on two aerial adventures built for all levels of bravery. The Play Park Ropes Course offers kid-friendly challenges like nets, planks, and swings, while the Tree Trek Ropes Course raises the bar with progressively harder elements high in the trees.

Climbers of all ages and abilities can take the challenge on this high-altitude rock wall featuring routes from easy to nearly impossible. The experienced staff will teach you the ropes to get you started and offer techniques to help you reach the top.

Bungee Trampoline

Let the adrenaline flow as you’re hoisted above a super trampoline, then flip and perform gravity-defying stunts with every bounce on the AutoBungee multi-station bungee trampoline. Try to launch 20 ft in the air with the safety of a fitted harness and bungee cords.

S.A.F.E. Archery®

Aim to please the entire family with S.A.F.E. Archery®, a new way to experience archery with foam-tipped arrows for family-friendly fun. Score points and compete against each other in this test of nerves and hand-eye coordination.

Woolly's Mining Co.

Pint-sized prospectors will enjoy getting their hands dirty as they sift through sand and rocks at Woolly's Mining Co. in hopes of striking it rich. Purchase a bag of mining rough where gemstones, arrowheads, and other fun finds are hidden, then uncover the treasures by using a screen tray and water flume in the sluice box at Woolly's Adventure Summit.

Head up Minaret Rd (Hwy 203) and you'll find Woolly's approximately halfway between The Village and Main Lodge.

Limited on-site parking is available in our lot or along Hwy 203/Minaret rd, or you can also park at The Village then hop on the Mammoth Bike Park Shuttle (Stop #90 on Canyon Blvd) to Woolly’s Adventure Summit and Main Lodge. The shuttle is free for foot passengers on a space-available basis.

Additional Mountain Coaster Restrictions

  • Maximum weight is 330 lbs if the track is wet
  • Passengers 38"+ and 3+ yrs may ride with qualified adult
  • Must be in good health and able to sit upright
  • This is an exciting, high speed, high-G force, physically demanding attraction. Participants must be in good health and have complete upper and lower body strength and control. If you have a heart condition, back or neck injuries, experience vertigo, have an inner ear issue, have a fear of heights, if you are pregnant or if you have any physical or mental condition that could possibly be aggravated, you must not participate.

Where are these activity areas located?

All activities are located at Woolly’s Adventure Summit, except Scenic Gondola Rides and Mini Golf, which are located across from Main Lodge.


Are these activities appropriate for adults?

Absolutely. All of our activities are designed for both kids and adults to enjoy.



TICKETS & PASSES

Where do I purchase tickets?

Adventure Passes can be purchased online in advance, at any ticket window, or by calling 800.MAMMOTH. Single-activity tickets are available at either the Woolly’s Adventure Summit or inside the Panorama Gondola across from Main Lodge.


Which summer pass is the best value?

The Full-Day Adventure Pass offers the most value with unlimited access to most activities, a FREE Child Bike Park ticket, and discounts on Adult Discovery Bike Park tickets. The Summer Adventure Pass is also a great option if you plan to make multiple visits.


Do you offer discounts on summer passes?

Yes. Book a Full-Day Adventure Pass 7+ days in advance and save 15%. Ikon Pass holders save 15% in person within 7 days, and also receive 15% off Summer Tubing and the Mountain Coaster.


Can I purchase a ticket for just one activity?

Yes. Single-activity tickets are available at the ticket window.


Can I make a reservation?

Adventure Passes, Mountain Coaster, and Tubing sessions can be purchased online in advance.

Does the Summer Adventure Pass include activities at Main Lodge?

Yes. It includes unlimited access to Scenic Gondola Rides and Mini Golf.


Are there any activities for guests under 42"?

Yes. Little adventurers can enjoy the bungee trampoline and climbing wall, or ride the Mountain Coaster as a companion. Please refer to our activity restrictions for full details, including weight limits.


How long is the Mountain Coaster?

The ride is 5,455 feet in total length.


How fast does the Mountain Coaster go?

It can reach speeds up to 25 MPH.


How fast is the tubing hill?

It can reach speeds of up to 28 MPH.


How long is the Zip Line?

Nearly 800 feet or 267 yards



SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS

Is there a height or weight limit?

Yes. Please refer to our activity restrictions section for detailed requirements.


Are helmets required?

Regular helmets are recommended for tubing, but not required. Helmets are available to rent on-site.


What should I wear?

Wear weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes with socks—these are required for most activities.



GETTING HERE & GETTING AROUND

Where do I park?

Both locations offer on-site parking. Additional parking is available along Minaret Road, or you can take the free town shuttle.


Can I take the shuttle?

Yes. Take the Mammoth Bike Park Shuttle from The Village (Stop #90 on Canyon Blvd) to Woolly’s Adventure Summit and Main Lodge. The shuttle is free for foot passengers on a space-available basis.


When should I arrive?

Activities open at 10:00 AM, but guests may purchase tickets onsite starting at 9:30 AM. Guests are encouraged to book online in advance if possible and arrive early to redeem their pass.


How do I redeem tickets purchased in advance?

Scan the barcode included in your email confirmation at any Express Ticket Pickup Box to redeem your activity tickets. Pickup boxes are conveniently located near the entrances of both Woolly's Adventure Summit and the Panorama Gondola Building across from Main Lodge.



AMENITIES & EXTRAS

What food options are available?

At Woolly’s Adventure Summit, Soaring Pines Mountain Café serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, grab-and-go snacks, and adult beverages. At Main Lodge, grab a bite at The Yodler or Mountainside Bar & Grill inside Mammoth Mountain Inn.


Can I bring outside food?

Outside food is not permitted at Woolly’s Adventure Summit.


What if the weather is bad?

If lightning is in the area, activities will temporarily close until it passes.


Are dogs allowed on-site?

Leashed dogs are allowed on site outside, but not within the facility due to Food & Beverage service restrictions.


Do you offer group pricing?

Not at this time.


Do you host private events or parties?

Yes. We offer a birthday party package that includes built-in Adventure Passes, pizza, and reserved outdoor-patio space. Find more details on our Birthday Party page.


Do you offer bike rentals at Woolly’s?

No. You can rent bikes at the Mountain Center in The Village or at Main Lodge.
