Explore the geologic, natural and cultural history of Mammoth on this self-guided adventure amid a backdrop of high alpine peaks and pristine lakes. It starts with a Scenic Gondola Ride to the summit, where you can check out the Eleven53 Interpretive Center’s interactive exhibits, then stop at several on-mountain learning stations to find out why this is one of the most studied regions in the world.

Featuring interactive exhibits for all ages, a knowledgeable docent, café and panoramic views of the Sierra and beyond. This is the central hub of the Explore Mammoth experience, at the very top of the mountain.
