Mammoth Lakes Basin

The Mammoth Lakes Basin is a family favorite destination for hiking, biking, fishing and more. Begin your adventure at our shore-side resort Tamarack Lodge, which is situated at the base of Twin Lakes, the first lake in the Basin at 8,500 feet. Continue up Lake Mary Road or along the paved bike path to find Lake Mary, Lake George, Lake Mamie, and Horseshoe Lake.

The Mammoth Lakes Basin offers hiking trails suitable for all levels. Some popular hikes include: Duck Pass Trail, McLeod Lake Trail, Mammoth Crest Trail, TJ and Barrett Lake Trails, and many more. For more information on the area, check out VisitMammoth.com.

What time do I pick up my rental?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation. Parking is available at Tamarack Lodge and check-in inside the Yurt, just past the Lodge. Present your name and confirmation to the front desk and an associate will fit you with the necessary equipment. Transporting kayaks & paddleboards is permitted as long as you have the proper mounting straps and equipment. Please ask for more information.

Can I return my bike rental to another location?
No, all bikes rented from Tamarack Bike & Paddle must be returned to the same location.
