The countdown to Opening Day is officially on, and here at Mammoth, the anticipation is real. Seasons are turning and we are stoked for the snow to fly.
While you’ve been dreaming of winter, we’ve been working hard to make those dreams even better. We've invested nearly $9 million in capital improvements across the resort, all aimed at one thing: making your experience on the mountain better than ever.
We are stoked to let you in on everything coming this winter. Here is everything you need to know to take full advantage of the upgrades, whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth.
Getting Here Just Got a Major Upgrade
Getting to the mountains is getting even easier. We're excited to announce several new travel options to make your journey to Mammoth easier and more comfortable.
United Airlines to Bishop (BIH): Big news for our friends flying from San Francisco and Denver.
- From San Francisco (SFO): Winter service is getting a boost with daily flights running from December 11, 2025–April 4, 2026. We’re also adding a second Saturday flight during peak periods (December 20–January 3 and February 14–April 4) for maximum weekend flexibility.
- From Denver (DEN): Popular daily winter service returns, running from December 18, 2025–April 27, 2026. Plus, weekend trips get easier with expanded service on Saturdays and Sundays from December 19–April 4.
As always, all United flights into Bishop are on the comfortable Embraer 175 jet with no middle seats and a better ride to start your vacation right.
Advanced Airlines to Mammoth (MMH): SoCal's direct connection is back and better than ever. Service from Hawthorne–LA (HHR) and Carlsbad (CLD) runs November 26, 2025, through April 27, 2026. Insider Tip: Flying into LAX? Book a free shuttle to Hawthorne (HHR) in advance to make your connection seamless.
Adventure for the Whole Crew
Great mountain days are about more than just skiing we're expanding our off-snow adventures for your whole family.
Woolly’s Adventure Summit is Bigger Than Ever: Get ready for even more family adventure with new attractions and a full calendar of fun. You’ll be able to race friends side-by-side on the newly open Dual Zipline, and refuel afterward at the Soaring Pines Café. Plus, we'll be hosting more family-friendly events and activities all season long.
Camps for Every Rider: This season, we're expanding our winter camp opportunities to help you reach your goals on the snow.
- Freestyle Ski & Snowboard Camps: Whether you’re new to freestyle, a self-taught park rat, or a seasoned competitor, we’ve got you covered. Open to ages 10 and up, our professional team of freestyle specialists will help you progress in the park in a safe and supportive environment. We break into small groups to maximize our time together, ensuring everyone gets stoked and gets better.
- Ripping Over 50 Camps: Built on the idea that skiing is for everyone, this popular camp is growing this year. The program focuses on body awareness, strength through micromovements, and individualized feedback to help you ski with more confidence and less fatigue. Participants can choose between three- or six-day sessions tailored to their personal pace and goals.
Your Trip, Totally Streamlined
We're leveraging new technology and premium services to remove the hassle and get you on the snow faster.
The Ikon Pass App is Your Digital Mountain Guide: Put the mountain in your pocket. The Ikon Pass App is your best tool for navigating the slopes with our brand new 3-D trail map. Plus, you can track your stats like vertical feet, total days skied, and so much more. This will be replacing your Mammoth App, so make sure to get it downloaded this November and stay up to date with the latest news and information.
A New Standard in Rentals: We're making it easier than ever to get the best gear. Our premium rental and delivery partner, Ski Butlers, is expanding with new locations at Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge, and now at the Limelight Hotel for a faster, higher-end experience. For those who prefer the ultimate convenience, their signature delivery service still brings top-of-the-line gear and a custom fitting right to your room anywhere around Mammoth.
The On-Mountain Difference
For our most dedicated skiers and riders, these are the upgrades that will make a great day even better.
The Power of Snowmaking: We’ve invested heavily in our snowmaking system, replacing thousands of feet of new pipe and upgrading our fan guns. For you, this means a more reliable and efficient snowmaking system, which is crucial for building a great early-season base and maintaining quality snow all winter long.
Safety First: You’ll notice new Ski Patrol infrastructure at the top of Stump Alley Express (2) and Chair 22. This investment helps our world-class patrol team continue to provide the highest level of safety and care on the mountain.
Unbound is Leveling Up: Our world-famous Unbound Terrain Parks are getting some serious love this season. The Unbound crew has been busy all summer fabricating new steel features designed to push progression for every level of rider. Beginners can look forward to a brand-new box experience in our Playground Parks, featuring 12-inch-wide steel with friendly beveled corners and side skirting to make learning as comfortable as possible. For our advanced riders, get ready for a new rainbow rail, a redesigned classic battleship rail, and more creative features that will improve the experience in Main Park and South Park.
Fuel Your Adventure
Great days are fueled by great food and drink. We're excited to announce a few tasty upgrades.
The Ultimate Hot Cocoa: We're elevating the classic post-skiing or mid-day ritual by proudly partnering with Ghirardelli! Get ready to warm up with a rich, premium hot cocoa that will make your day complete.
A Glimpse of the Future: We're continually reinvesting in our properties. Keep an eye out for ongoing renovations at Mammoth Mountain Inn and The Westin's Whitebark Restaurant.
