Latest Updates

There are no capacity restrictions, reservation requirements, or limits on lift ticket sales for the 21/22 winter season. While walk-up lift ticket sales are available, we strongly encourage guests to purchase lift tickets in advance. Proof of vaccination is not required to access the resort at this time and all guests and employees must follow the Mask Policy below.


Mono County Status

Effective June 15, 2021, California is fully reopened with capacity and distancing restrictions lifted for most businesses and activities (with limited exceptions for mega-events). Find the latest guidance from Mono County here.
Mask Policy

Effective March 1, 2022, the Mono County Health Department has rescinded indoor mask requirements, following the guidance of the State of California. Masks are no longer required indoors, regardless of vaccination status. We continue to urge individuals who are feeling sick to remain home, wear a mask in public and test for COVID-19. What to Expect Around Mammoth

  • Hand washing and sanitizing stations are placed throughout the resort.      

  • We are disinfecting high-touch points (railings, bathrooms, door handles, tables, chairs, etc.) and high-trafficked areas (gondolas, ticket windows, elevators, doors, guest rooms, etc.) throughout the destination more frequently. 

  • Cancellation policies have been adjusted to help provide peace-of-mind in planning your trip to Mammoth and allow flexibility to reschedule if you are feeling unwell.

  • Proof of vaccination is not required to access the resort at this time.

  • Please stay home if you are feeling sick or are exhibiting symptoms of illness. 

  • Wash hands thoroughly and often. Sanitizing stations are also available around the resort when hand washing is not feasible.  

  • Please adhere to all signage and guidelines while visiting, including those directing walking patterns and one-way entries and exits. 

  • Please respect employees at all times, including while enforcing COVID-19-related regulations.
