Sierra STEM Pop-Up at Woolly's Adventure Summit

Mammoth Mountain, the Volcano!

Woolly's Adventure Summit is teaming up with local non-profit Sierra STEM to bring free, drop-in science activities to the park this summer. This first session digs into Mammoth's own volcanic past.

Kids grades K–4 will build a Play-Doh model of the Earth, explore how magma moves, and act out how different types of volcanoes erupt, including the lava dome right beneath their feet. They'll take their model home as a souvenir.

Sessions run every 30 minutes from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM and are free with Woolly's Adventure Summit admission. Space is limited to 16 kids per session. First come, first served.
