The Arc’teryx Backcountry Academy returns for its second year to Mammoth, California, delivering three days of mountain education and community events. Whether you’re new to the backcountry or well acquainted with couloirs and cliffs, it’s an opportunity to be mentored by world-class mountain guides and athletes. Academy Music Series
Get ready to turn up the energy at the Academy Music Series! On Friday, February 20th, and Saturday, February 21st, Canyon Lodge and the venue space in The Village (formerly known as Kitchen 53) will come alive with an electrifying lineup of DJ sets. Slide straight from après into a full-on dance party and groove with some of the top artists in the scene.
Academy Film Nights
Join us for two evenings, Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st, of film premieres and athlete conversations at Wind Drift Studios (94 Old Mammoth Road), designed to inspire your next winter adventure. Enjoy engaging stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and firsthand experiences from some of the best in the industry.
Vendor Village
From February 20–22, step into the Academy Vendor Village — the heart of community and mountain culture. Explore demos, gear tuning, and hands-on learning throughout the day. Then ease into happy hour with live music, hot drinks, and interactive vendor activations. Check out ReBIRD™, enjoy our Mammoth Brewing collab beer, connect with Academy partners and beneficiaries, and unwind after a big day on the mountain.
