Celebrate with a Fun-Filled Weekend

Together with the Town of Mammoth Lakes, we have put together a list of fun activities and events that is sure to keep the celebration going all weekend long.

Wednesday, July 3 3:00 PM–9:00 PM Independence Day Celebration The festivities kick off at 3:00 PM at The Village at Mammoth and include Chihuahua Races, and live music.
Wednesday, July 39:00 PM–9:30 PMFireworks at the VillageFireworks in the Village start at 9:00 PM following the Independence Day Celebration.
Thursday July 4 7:00 AM–11:00 AM Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Kick off the day with a hearty breakfast of orange juice, coffee, sausage and unlimited pancakes. Adults are $14, kids and seniors are $12, and kids aged 12 and under are $8.
Thursday July 4 10:30 AM–11:00 AM Footloose Freedom Mile Lace-up your shoes and join Mammoth Track Club before the annual town parade for a mile fun run on Old Mammoth Road.
Thursday July 4 11:00 AM–12:30 PM Annual Town Parade Bring your camp chair and watch the parade of floats along Old Mammoth Road and Main Street. Walk, bike, or ride the free town shuttle as parking is limited along the parade route. Visit Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce for parade participation details.
Thursday July 4 2:00 PM–3:00 PM Pops in the Park After the parade, stop by Shady Rest Park for an orchestra performance. The event starts approximately 30 minutes after the last float concludes in the parade and runs for about an hour.
Thursday July 4 9:15 PM–9:45 PM Fireworks at Crowley Lake Enjoy a dazzling display of color in the Eastern Sierra night sky. Admission: $25.00 per car, RV or truck (excludes camping); $5.00 per individual/bike (walking/riding).
Saturday, July 6 5:30 PM–9:00 PM Summit Sunset Party Hop on the Panorama Gondola for a scenic ride up to the top and enjoy a beautiful sunset from 11,053'. Tickets required.
