ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS NEVER SKIED OR SNOWBOARDED BEFORE?

Participants of all ability levels are welcome in the Mini Mountain Rangers and Mountain Rangers programs. For Sunday Sessions, intermediate or above skiing/riding ability is required. If your child is not yet skiing or riding independently, please contact SkiSchool@MammothResorts.com so we can help develop a plan to get them ready before the program begins.

What is the difference between Sunday Sessions and Mammoth Jr. Teams?

Mammoth Jr. Teams offer Ski & SB coaching in various disciplines on either 5-day-per week or Sat-Sun schedules throughout the entire season, whereas our Sunday Sessions offers Full- or Half-day options on Sundays for 10-weeks from January through March. Sunday Sessions are perfect for kids or families who want to continue their progression, but may not want to commit to the full team schedule, or may want an additional year of coaching and progression before transitioning to Jr. Team training.

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?

Please make sure your child arrives with a snack, dressed appropriately for the conditions, and ready to ski or snowboard. We’ll spend most of the session outdoors, so proper winter gear is essential. Lunch is provided for all-day sessions only. Menus vary, so if your child has dietary restrictions, please pack a lunch and let their instructor know.

DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE LIFT TICKETS AND RENTALS?

No. Lift access and rental equipment are not included. Participants must have a season pass or valid lift ticket for each session. A season pass is recommended, as lift tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable.

For Mini Mountain Rangers, children ages 4 and under are eligible for free lift tickets or season passes, which can be picked up at a ticket window. Proof of age is required, and a $25 processing fee applies to season pass products.

I’M A LOCAL. CAN I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT?

Yes. Mono and Inyo County residents are eligible for 20% off when booking by November 30, 2026. To receive the discount, register in person at the Mammoth Kids ticket desk, located on the lower level of the Panorama Gondola building across from Main Lodge, between November 13–30, 2026. The ticket desk is open from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Proof of eligibility, such as a student ID or school enrollment information, is required at the time of booking.

CAN I JOIN A WAITLIST?

If your desired session is unavailable, please contact Ski School at SkiSchool@MammothResorts.com to be added to the waitlist.
