How do I sign in to the app?

Use the same username (email address) and password you use to log in to IkonPass.com.

If you are unsure if you already have an account or cannot remember your password, please go through the password reset flow and the system will help you regain control of your account.

Why do I need to log in to access the ski tracking?

Your email address is what connects your stats to your profile as it is unique to you. This allows you to move between our various mobile apps and have a connected overall experience between apps and from season to season.

Why is the ski tracking not working?

In order to utilize ski tracking or the in-resort navigation, you must enable location services. We recommend you enable location services “all the time,” since your phone will not be unlocked while you are skiing or riding. Note that the on most devices when you approve location services is "while using the app", which is a setting set by Apple and Google. You will likely need to go into the app's individual settings and select "all the time". Here are some additional notes for tracking on iOS and Android:

iOS: Make sure that your phone is not on low power mode. This status may persist after charging in some circumstances, so you may need to go into Settings and toggle “Low Power Mode” off. Additionally, if you are on iOS 14 or greater, you will need to enable “precise location” in order to be tracked. This setting can be configured on a per-app basis in your Settings under the app’s individual permissions (scroll down to the bottom, select the app, and look at the details of its location services).

Android: If you are using a Samsung device, please turn off the automatic battery optimization setting and enable the High Performance battery setting. You can check this by going to Settings > Device Care > Battery.

How do I change my birthday/email/name/account details?

Please contact Ikon Pass support. This team is equipped to help answer questions about the Local Resort mobile apps for all guests. You can find their information here.

How do I view more weather and trail/lift status information than what shows on Home?
All the cards on the home screen are tappable, and you can simply tap into each to view more details. You can also view the full weather report on the resort website.

This app uses HealthKit and location services for tracking and replaying your runs on the trail map. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
