What's New

The challenge just got a little easier.  We're excited to welcome a new e-MTB category to the summer Ezakimak Challenge. Participants using a class 1 pedal assist e-bike can join the fun in July.

About Ezakimak

Ezakimak is Kamikaze spelled backwards. Our legendary Kamikaze mountain bike trail spans from Mammoth Mountain's peak down to Main Lodge, weaving through the "backside" of the mountain. In winter 2015 we started this backwards fun by sending cross country skiers, snowshoers and runners on an uphill race on the snow. After the success of the winter Ezakimak we kept the idea going and brought a summer version to the dirt for runners and mountain bikers. Sign up now and let them eat your dust.

Let the kids loose on a custom Ezakimak Challenge just for them.  At 5PM we'll start the  Ezakiminis Challenge to the top of Discovery Chair 11. Racers 14 and under can run or bike their way up and back. All kids will receive a medal for participating and have their own feed station for pre- and post-race snacks.
