Disabled Sports of Eastern Sierra
Disabled Sports of Eastern Sierra is a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by:
Offering year-round sports and activities
Creating inspiring challenges
Providing expert one-on-one instruction
Using state-of-the art adaptive equipment
Rallying the community to comfortably accommodate people with disabilities
Winter Programs feature skiing and snowboarding for people of all ages. Those with physical or cognitive disabilities are able to have a fun and healthy learning experience on the snow. We have developed specialized teaching methodologies to enable guests with special needs to enjoy their skiing and snowboarding experience. Every lesson is one-on-one and customized for each individual.
In summer months we lead programs on boating, fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding, cycling, camping, hiking, environmental and other outdoor knowledge and skills that allow our students to enjoy all the Eastern Sierra has to offer.
