We are offering Pass Protection through the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area that covers the cost of your season pass if you are no longer able to use it due to covered reasons such as:

|1. Physical injury or sickness |
|Injury or sickness must be so disabling that the pass holder can no longer ski/snowboard for the remainder of the season, as verified by a physician at the time of sickness or injury. |
|2. Physical injury or sickness of a family member |
|Injury or sickness to the family member must be so disabling, as verified by a physician, as to reasonably cause the pass holder's Mammoth Value Pass to be unuseable for the rest of the season (such as where pass holder becomes primary care giver). |
|3. Pass holder is involuntarily, terminated, laid off, or job requires involuntary relocation. |
|a) Pass holder must have been an active employee for the same employer for at least one year, b) Termination must occur following the effective date of coverage, c) Coverage is not applicable to temporary employment, independent contractors or self-employed persons, d) Relocation of pass holder's primary residence must be at least 200 miles further in distance from MMSA than location at time of purchase, creating a hardship on visitation. Dependants also qualify. Documentation from Employer or former employer must be provided. |
|4. Pass holder is called to active military service or military leave is revoked or reassigned. ||Military documentation proving deployment or military leave reassignment must be provided. |
|5. Pass holder has become pregnant. ||Pregnancy must occur after the pass holder's effective date of coverage and must be verified by a physician. Spouse and dependents of the pass holder who becomes pregnant do not qualify for reimbursement. |

You may purchase pass protection at the time of sale or up to 30 days from purchase, or before the first day of the ski season, whichever comes later. There is a 10 day money back guarantee, after which pass protection becomes non-refundable. Claims must be filed within 90 days of the qualifying incident.
Pre-Season Pass Cancellations: For incidents that occur prior to the start of the ski season, you may be reimbursed the full cost of your season pass if you're unable to use it for the entire season, due to a covered reason.
Season Interruption Reimbursements (pro-rated): For incidents that occur after the ski season begins, reimbursement will be on a prorated basis, based on the date of the qualifying occurrence and our season, which will be 11/13/14 - 5/31/15 for purposes of this program.
Coverage applies for season pass products, valid for the 2014/2015 season, 11/13/14 - 5/31/15. Claims must be filed within 90 days of the qualifying incident.
Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver: You must be medically able to ski/ride when you purchase your protection plan.
