Enjoy a weekend of wining and dining in the High Sierra. The weekend kicks off Thursday with a Cork Pop Dinner, followed by 3 exclusive wine dinners to choose from on Friday night. The coveted Wine Walk in The Village takes place Saturday evening, with 40+ wineries pouring their selections. The weekend concludes with a Champagne Brunch at Campo Mammoth on Sunday morning.

Proceeds from this event support the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation.

The Panorama Gondola opens at 6PM.

The Village Wine Walk

Celebrate wine, music and the outdoors in a stunning Sierra setting. Stroll through The Village at Mammoth while sampling over 160 vintages from over 40 wineries with live music playing on The Plaza Stage. Event ticket includes wristband for access to wine tasting, commemorative wine glass, plus complimentary cheese box with selection of cheeses, grapes, crackers and olive mix.

Enjoy an extra hour of sipping with special VIP access to an exclusive tasting area on the Village Gondola deck with select wineries; light snacks provided.

Pick Up Your Wristband & Tasting Glass Early

Avoid the line and and grab your Wine Walk wristband and glass early. Early check-in is offered at the Mountain Center in The Village on Friday, August 16 from 5–8PM and on Saturday, August 17 starting at 3PM.

All attendees must check in to show a valid ID and pick-up their own glass and wristband. Wristbands will be placed on your wrist for you at event check-in and must stay on through the duration of the event in order to wine taste. 


Take Home Your Favorite Wines

Wine poured during the Wine Walk will be available for purchase by the case or single bottle from the Wine Sales booth on-site.  Tasting notes and wine sales sheets will be available at each wine tent.

Village Wine Walk FAQs

I have a spouse/friend that would like to join me for the event, but they are not interested in purchasing a ticket. Is this allowed?
Yes, The Village at Mammoth and Mammoth Wine Walk is a public and open venue. The tasting if available to paid participants only. 

May I have my dog with me?
Yes, dogs are allowed on leashes.

What should I wear?
The weather in Mammoth varies quite a bit in August. We suggest a light jacket or sweater as the evenings tend to cool off quickly.

What are my transportation options?
We suggest using the public transportation system provided by the town of Mammoth Lakes. The town trolley will drop you off and pick you up right at the venue. Click here for more details.

What are my food options?
Each participant will receive a complimentary cheese box featuring olive mix, selection of cheese, grapes and crackers. There is also food to purchase in the venue and a wide range of dining establishments in The Village at Mammoth.

What if it rains?
The event will go on rain or shine.
