Today you can expect partly sunny skies with temps in the low 20s. Get out there and enjoy the fresh snow from this storm, as a major winter storm is headed our way late today with snowfall predictions upwards of 4-6 feet by the end of the week.
Closures and weather holds are in place for everyone’s safety. Do not jeopardize your safety, the safety of our employees, and the safety of our guests by cutting closures – at a minimum, you will lose your pass. Snow immersion suffocation (SIS) danger is very real, always ski and ride with a buddy and keep your partner in sight. Use extra caution where deep, loose snow exists, especially near trees. If you are going to fall, attempt to do so feet first.
It’s National Safety Month, take a look at the safety page and give yourself a quick reminder of safe riding habits and conduct while on the slopes. This week’s tip is to be prepared. People ahead of you have the right of way and it is your responsibility to avoid people downhill from you. Be prepared for sudden changes in their speed or direction and show courtesy by shouting out what side you are passing them on.
Help us continue to #StaySafeToStayOpen, masks are required indoors, in lift lines and on lifts, in gondolas, shuttles, and in all marked “Mask Zones”. Perforated, ventilated, and single-layer neck gaiter style face coverings are not allowed. Please also follow social distancing protocols by staying 6 feet apart whenever possible. Let it snow.
