Where do I pick up my pass/ticket card?

Tickets will be available for pickup at any of our base lodge ticket windows during operating hours or at one of our Express Ticket Pickup Boxes. Reservations including rentals may be picked up on-site in your selected rental location. Please ensure the information you provide is accurate to help ensure prompt delivery.

You may pick up your tickets immediately after purchase or choose to wait until closer to the valid dates. Additional ticket windows are available during select times at the base of Chair 2 (The Mill), Chair 4 (Roller Coaster Express), and the Mountain Center in The Village. Guests of Mammoth Lodging Collection properties may be able to fulfill ticket purchases at the front desk of their lodge.

How do I use my pass/ticket card?

Season pass and ticket cards at Mammoth Mountain use RFID, which stands for radio-frequency identification. It is a small circuit integrated into your pass/ticket card. When you pass through the lift gates, this circuit will register and open the gates for you. There are many guest benefits that RFID allows Mammoth Mountain to provide, such as direct-to-lift convenience, reloadable tickets and easier access to the mountains and lifts.

Once you have ticket in-hand, you can reload additional days of lift access onto your existing ticket and head straight to the lifts. Just select the "reload" option at the top of this page, choose your dates and type in the code on the front of your existing ticket, then proceed to check out. Head straight to the lifts without stopping by a guest services desk.

Where should I carry my pass/ticket card?

Please keep your lift ticket in a left-side pocket by itself while skiing/snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain. Our scanners are located on your left side as you go through the gates and cell phones, credit cards, passes/tickets from other ski areas, old Mammoth Mountain tickets can interfere with the RFID gates and delay your access onto the lifts.

Can I punch a hole in my pass/ticket card?

No, holes must never be punched in season passes or daily lift ticket cards. The card has an antenna embedded that surrounds the embedded RFID chip. Any damage to the surrounding antenna will render the card inactive and must be replaced for a replacement fee.

Can a magnet destroy my pass/ticket card?

No. The chip information in the card is not stored magnetically. Use of a magnet or other erasing devices has no effect whatsoever on the chip.

I'm buying a pass for a child, grandchild, or friend, how do I do this?

You will be able to purchase these products online. The parent/guardian (over 18) must build their profile first. The information for the pass holders is entered later in the process.

Do you allow uphill access at Mammoth Mountain?

We do. Please visit our Uphill Access page for more information.

WHAT ARE THE LIFT OPERATIONS HOURS?

Please visit our Hours of Operation page for current hours and be sure to check our Lift & Trail Status page before hitting the slopes for real-time info on what lifts and trails are open.
