  • Record Breaking Snowfall This January

    Jan 23, 2017

Mammoth’s record-breaking snowfall streak continues. So far we’ve received 241” of snow shattering the previous record of 209” set in December of 2010.

Most notable was Thursday January 12th that enjoyed 3 feet of blower powder. We couldn’t be more thrilled that Mother Nature is cooperating this January for the benefit off all our guests - locals and visitors alike.

Be sure to get up to Mammoth now to enjoy the best conditions we’ve seen in years. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Quad Pack+ offer, 4 lift tickets for $399.

  • January Super Storms

    Jan 18, 2017

January 2017 has delivered in a major way. Mammoth received 13-19 feet of snow during the first two weeks of the month giving us the deepest base depth in the country. The powder hounds were out in force all across the mountain and the photos and video footage speak for itself.

Unbelievably there's even more snow impacting the Sierra this week, so be sure to check out our Snow + Weather page for the latest forecast.

Be sure to check out our deals & packages page for our latest offers, especially our Quad Pack+, a bundle of 4 lift tickets for less than $100 per day with no blackouts.

  • Most Snow in the Country

    Jan 10, 2017

They'd been predicted for weeks, then, last week, they arrived; a series of atmospheric rivers with total water content exceeding 20 inches. With a 10-1 water-to-snow ratio that 20 inches of water equates to potentially up to 20 feet of snow impacting the Sierra.

Mammoth Mountain has benefited thus far with 10-15 feet of snow as of 1.11.17 and now boasts more snow than anywhere in the country with a base depth of 120-230" and more on the way in the days ahead (check snow conditions).

We're beyond thrilled to welcome this barrage of white gold to kick off the New Year and as we head into MLK weekend the mountain is looking better than it has in years.

Be sure to take advantage of our latest Quad Pack+ deal - 4 lift tickets for $399 - no blackouts.
