Easily Get to the Mountain & Around Town

After you arrive in Mammoth, leave your car parked and get up to the mountain easily thanks to the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA). This convenient bus service offers complimentary transportation all around the town of Mammoth Lakes, including each of our mountain base lodges. 

To Main Lodge

Red Line Route  |  Operates Every 20 Minutes from 7:00AM–5:30PM 

Offers service throughout town via Old Mammoth Road and Main Street traveling between Snowcreek Athletic Club and Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge.

To Canyon Lodge and The Village

Blue Line  |  Every 15 Minutes from 7:05AM–5:20PM 

Offers service between The Village at Mammoth and Canyon Lodge.

To Juniper Springs Resort, Eagle Lodge & The Village

Yellow Line  |  Operates Every 20 Minutes from 7:20AM–5:30PM

The Yellow Line is expected to run through April 19, 2020.

Provides service between Juniper Springs Resort/Eagle Lodge and The Village every 20 minutes.

To Juniper Springs Resort, Eagle Lodge & Downtown

Green Line  |  Operates Every 15 Minutes from 7:30AM–5:30PM

The Green Line is expected to run through April 19, 2020.

Offers service between Juniper Springs Resort/Eagle Lodge and the downtown area at the intersection of Meridian and Old Mammoth Road (Vons).

To Tamarack

Orange Line  | Every 30 Minutes from 8:00AM–5:15PM

Offers service between The Village at Mammoth and Tamarack Lodge and Cross Country Ski Center. Departs The Village starting at 8:00AM, with the last departure from Tamarack Lodge at 5:15PM. Departs Tamarack Lodge every 30 minutes at :15 and :45 past the hour.

Evening Hospitality Shuttle

Pink Line  | 6PM - Midnight 

Shop and dine in the evening and ride the complimentary Evening Hospitality Shuttle, designated as the pink line. Starting Dec 12, the pink line operates 7 nights a week from 6PM-midnight, departing from The Village and traveling up to the Mammoth Mountain Inn then back down to The Village and on to Juniper Springs Resort.   


Around Town

Purple Line  |  Night Trolley  |  Dial-a-Ride

ESTA also makes it easy for you to get around town during the day and into the early morning hours with the Night Trolley offering service until 2AM. 


Purple Line  | Operates Every 30 minutes from 7AM–6PM 

Offers service between downtown and The Village at Mammoth, with stops also at the RV park,  Welcome Center and Cerro Coso Community College. Departs Vons supermarket starting at 7AM, with the last departure at 5:30PM.

Night Trolley  |  Operates Every 20 minutes from 5:40PM–2AM 

Offers service between the Snowcreek Athletic Club and The Village at Mammoth, as well as Canyon Lodge and Juniper Springs Resort. 

Scheduled service to Canyon Lodge concludes at 10PM, although, return service upon request to the driver is available until from 10PM until 2AM.  

Sunday through Thursday, scheduled service to Juniper Springs Resort concludes at midnight, although, return service upon request to the driver is available until from midnight until 2AM.

Dial-a-Ride  |  Operates Weekdays 8AM–5PM (Limited Service 11:45AM–3PM)

This door-to-door route operates year-round for the general public. ADA Complementary Paratransit service is available during periods when fixed route is operating, outside of the times Dial-a-Ride times. Depending on the zone, the ride can cost $2.40–$4.20.
