MMSST 2014 Video Contest



The 2014 Mammoth Ski and Snowboard Team Video Contest is now open!  

Show off your creativity and hone your video skills with your own Mammoth video edit! Recruit your friends and family and have a blast capturing your experience on and off the mountain in Mammoth. Everyone has a great Mammoth story, and this is your chance to tell your's from your own point of view.


Videos will be posted to the "2014 Video Contest" playlist on the new Mammoth Teams YouTube channel.

Contest Rules

This contest is open to current team members only.


Submitted videos must:

  • Include the Mammoth Crown logo (does not have to be the team-specific logo) or your Team uniform
  • Mention "Challenge Accepted" (either written or spoken)
  • Include a shot of Woolly (on-hill mascot, print logo, or digital art)
  • Be under 2 minutes long


Judging Criteria 

There will be three submission rounds: 

December 28 - February 10

February 16 - March 14

March 15-April 5


The top 3 "most-viewed" submissions plus one "coach's choice" from the first submission round will be viewed at the A-Team awards on March 15th. The panel of judges will be determined by the Mammoth staff.    

The third (just added) submission round will begin following the A-Team awards.  The top 3 "most-viewed" submissions and the "coach's choice" from each round will then go head to head to determine the ultimate winner.  The final panel of judges will be the Celebrity Coaches and the winning videos will be shown at the M Games. 



Each winning videographer gets a new SONY Action cam!  



Please save your video to a USB flash drive and turn it in at Team HQ by the submission deadline.
