Take the turns of a banked slalom, add the jumps and jibs of a slopestyle and you've got DC Hit & Run, a unique snowboarding contest designed to put riders to the test. 



Rider Info

A riders goal is to send it down the course as fast as possible, while dropping their best tricks.  The better the trick, the more time is deducted from their run.  The person with the fastest overall score for their run wins.  Freestyle features will be judged on a 1-5 scale, the collective features score will be added up, converted to seconds and deducted from a riders overall run time.

      DC Hit & Run is open to snowboarders only, ages 14 & older.

       REGISTRATION IS FULL


All competitors will be required to sign a liability release from both DC and Mammoth Mountain before competing.  If you are under 18 please make arrangements to have a parent or guardian sign your release at or before registration.

Event Schedule

Friday, Feb 26
9am-2pm    Bib pick-up in the Chair 4 building
10am-3pm Open Course/Training in South Park
The course will be closed to the public. Riders must check-in, pick-up a bib and sign waivers before riding the course.

Saturday, Feb 27

7:30am-8:30am Bib pick-up and check-in in the Chair 4 building
8:30am-9:30am Course practice
9:45am Rider meeting at top of course
10am Men's Pro Qualifiers - 2 Runs    
10:45am  Men's Open Qualifiers - 2 Runs
12:30pm  Women's Qualifiers - 2 Runs
1:45pm FINALS - 1 Run
Top 10 Pro Men, Top 10 Open Men, Top 3 Women - start list based on qualifying time
3pm Awards 

The Course

Hit & Run will take over South Park starting in the 18ft pipe, weaving through Jibs Galore, hitting the Chair 20 jump, ducking into the trees and ending in lower South at the bottom of Chair 4.

*the best trick feature will be announced on contest day in the rider meeting.



Lift Ticket & Lodging Deal

Hit & Run riders are eligible for 20% off lodging at Mammoth Mountain Inn or Juniper Springs Lodge for a stay between February 26-29. To book call 800.MAMMOTH and reference DC Hit & Run for rates.

Riders will receive discounted $65 lift tickets on practice and event day.  Tickets available for purchase from the event registration at Chair 4.
