Overview

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding. It is the parent organization of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. Developed to facilitate participation in national and international competition, the Olympic sports organization provides structure for competitive skiing and snowboarding.

From grassroots programs to governance of sport, management of rules, competitions and athletic rankings, the USSA oversees athletic pipelines for development in these sports. With a vision to make the USA the best in the world in Olympic skiing and snowboarding, the USSA provides leadership and direction for tens of thousands of young skiers and snowboarders who share an Olympic dream while maintaining a strong adherence to core values.

Mammoth Mountain is proud to host many USSA/FIS races throughout the season each year. For more information and membership details about the USSA please go to:

2016/17 Race Events

The 2016/17 race season is here, and we are looking forward to hosting many exciting events. Mammoth Mountain Race Department is proud to be hosting this season, the Alpine Masters National Championships, multiple Western Region FIS events, the US Grand Prix and Rev Tour, and many other alpine, free ski and snowboard events throughout this season. You can see all of our events for the season listed on the Race Department Calendar.

2016/17 Results and technical information for all USSA/FIS scored events become available at the finish of each event and can be seen online at
www.ussa.org or at www.fwskiing.us.

Volunteers are extremely important, our races cannot happen without your participation. No other volunteers at any other resort perform better and are more consistently accurate than Mammoth’s. Please help support the Mammoth Community Foundation and the Race Department by volunteering for any of our race events.
