The Adventure Center is closed for the summer season. Winter scenic rides will begin in mid-November, weather permitting. The Eleven53 Interpretive Center is open during the winter season.

Take a Scenic Gondola Ride up Mammoth Mountain to explore all the fun at 11,053 ft. At the top, snap a selfie at the summit sign, enjoy lunch with panoramic views at the Eleven53 Café, and discover the history and wonder of the Sierra at the interpretive center. Make it a one-way trip in the summer – just top-off your water bottle and head back down on foot for a rewarding hike.

Explore Mammoth at 11,053

Explore the geologic, natural and cultural history of Mammoth on this self-guided adventure amid a backdrop of high alpine peaks and pristine lakes. It starts with a Scenic Gondola Ride to the summit, where you can check out the Eleven53 Interpretive Center’s interactive exhibits, then stop at several on-mountain learning stations to find out why this is one of the most studied regions in the world.

Devils Postpile

The majesty of Reds Meadow and Devils Postpile National Monument lie just over the shoulder of Mammoth Mountain in the San Joaquin River Valley.  In order to preserve this magical place, all visitors pay a small fee to ride a convenient shuttle to Devils Postpile, Rainbow Falls and other sights along the middle fork of the San Joaquin River.

Youngsters 12 and under get all-day access to the climbing wall, zip line and bungee trampolines and 15% off bike rentals with the Kids Adventure Pass. A full day of extreme fun awaits at the Mammoth Adventure Center, across from Main Lodge.

Fly without wings as you sail almost 25 ft in the air along the 306-foot long zip line located behind the Adventure Center. Try to keep from smiling as you fly over a creek, and wave to the bikers below as you zip by in the Pioneer Practice Loop.

Climbers of all ages and abilities can take the challenge on this highaltitude rock wall featuring routes from easy to nearly impossible. The experienced staff will teach you the ropes to get you started and offer techniques to help you reach the top.

Bungee Trampolines

Bungee Trampolines

Let the adrenaline flow as you’re hoisted above a super trampoline, then flip and perform gravity-defying stunts with every bounce on the EuroBungy multi-station bungee trampoline. Try to launch 25 ft in the air with the safety of a fitted harness and bungee cords.
