Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is set to host a number of exciting events throughout the month of July! From 4th of July festivities, Village movie showings and the June Lake Triathlon, Kids Fishing Festival and Woolly's Summer Saturdays! Expand below to learn more! 


4th of July Festivities | July 4-6

Fourth of July Weekend in Mammoth is popping.  From the annual Art Festival, Independence Day Parade, Lions Club pancake breakfast and fireworks at Crowley Lake, to the Footloose Freedom Mile, live music at the Yodler and a great show in The Village complete with Fireworks there is summer fun for everyone. 

Woolly’s Summer Saturdays | Every Saturday, July 5-Augut 30

Join your favorite mountain-biking mascot every Saturday for a bike ride down the Discovery Trail followed by family fun at the Adventure Center! After the bike ride, Woolly leads a mini parade around the climbing wall with music, dancing, face painting, and a frozen summer treat. More Info

Mono County Free Fishing Day | July 5

No fishing license is required on July 6 in all of Mono County. Pack a picnic, grab and rod and hit one of the many lakes and rivers.  It's a great way to give fishing a try!

Village Movie Series | Every Thurs & Sun

Bring your favorite blanket and grab a chair in The Village every Thursday or Sunday evening this summer for a movie under the stars. What’s Playing 

June Lake Triathlon | July 12

The High Sierra Triathlon Club presents the “toughest race in the most beautiful place”!  There are Olympic or Sprint race distance options for adults and a Mini Tri for kids ages 6-12. More Info

Gimme Shelter Carnival | July 10-20

Games, Rides, Food and good ol' fashion carnival fun at the Sierra Nevada Resort on Old Mammoth Rd. Proceeds will benefit Wild Iris, a local non-profit organization serving victims of domestic violence, assault and child abuse. More Info

Mammoth Food & Wine Experience | July 11-12

A festive two-day celebration of food, wine, and education at Cerro Coso Community College including demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances, a great lineup of participating wineries and much more. More Info 

Jazz Jubilee | July 16-20

Experience the spectacular Sierra with the sounds of some of the world's finest jazz musicians.  Cajun, big band, swing, 50s & 60s rock 'n' roll, Dixieland and straight ahead jazz - fun for all!  Complete Schedule

11th Annual Village Fest | July 25-27

Now a summer tradition at the Village at Mammoth, the annual VillageFest has been dubbed "California's Highest Rib Cook-Off".  Featuring more than just a cooking competition, this festival offers concerts by local bands, crafts and much more. More Info

Kids Fishing Festival | July 26

Kids 13 and under can learn to fish and catch an Alpers trout at the Snowcreek ponds! A great time for your little outdoors lover! Fishing Festival includes event t-shirts and lots of prizes.  More Info

Fire Department BBQ and Picnic | July 27

Mammoth Lakes Fire Department's annual summer fundraiser! Enjoy a picnic, barbecue and games for all ages at Shady Rest Park on Sunday.

Juniors Get Golf Ready | June 14-July 16

Mammoth Kids Summer Camp

 
Over the course of six fun-filled days, campers participate in a fantastic variety of mountain activities and excursions, including hiking and rafting in Yosemite, horseback riding and an overnight campout under the stars.  Sessions are July 6-11 and July 27-August 1, sign your kids up today!  Learn More
