2004/05 was an incredible season for the Unbound, with tons of snow and great events. Main Park opened in October, and our Super Pipe was open earlier than any other resort's halfpipe in North America! It may have felt like the snow would never stop falling, especially in December and January (and in February, March, April and May...) but that meant the spring riding lasted into July.
The Unbound hosted some great contests this year, like the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam, the West Coast Invitational, and the Orage Masters, showcasing some of the best skiers and riders in the world.
Park staff are working through the summer planning new features for the upcoming season. We can't promise that we'll get quite as much snow in 2005/06, but we can promise that our parks will be as innovative as ever. See you in November '05!

Come see for yourself what we have going on in the Unbound Terrain Parks. Innovative, progressive design features are what earn Mammoth its soaring reputation year after year. With over 70 acres dedicated to 40 rails and boxes for everybody, an amazing Wall Ride, 50 jumps, not to mention a world-class system of pipes, Mammoth is the future. Check out the two Family Fun Zones at Discovery and Canyon, South Park's ground-breaking Jibs Galore, and rock out to a new high-power sound system in Main and South Parks.
Family Fun Zones...for the emerging rider
Unbound South Park...the place to step it up
Main Unbound...ride/ski with the world's best
We put as much pride into our 10-foot jumps as our 90-foot jumps. Knowing that everyone rides at different levels, all three parks and all three pipes, Mini Pipe, Super Pipe and Super-Duper Pipe, plus rail and fun box desings, have been built consistently, only differing in size. Working your way up to expert terrain is way more fun. The same crew builds a progressive terrain variety with your development in mind. Unbound parks are where the pros ride -- but the challenge belongs to everyone.
Safety is important while freeriding. Everyone's here to have fun and no one wants to get hurt. Be sure you know the Code and follow it.
