JLA Banked Slalom – March 27–30

Become a part of the family at Mammoth Mountain at the 3rd Annual JLA Banked Slalom. This 2-day-long family-friendly event honors the memory of one of Mammoth’s own. Watch some of the best names in snowboarding race toward the finish or bring the whole family to ride though a course of banks, hips, twists and turns.

Ezakimak 11,053 Challenge – April 4

You got to get up to get down. Race from the base of Mammoth Mountain to the top of Eleven53 on cross country skis, snowshoes or by foot. The Ezakimak will bring participants from 9,000ft to 11,053ft in a winter trial featuring both competitive and novice classes.

Pink Moon Party – April 4

Celebrate spring at the summit of Mammoth Mountain. Take a ride to the top of the Sierra in the Panoramic Gondola to watch the sun set and the full moon rise, then party under the Pink Moon and celebrate with the Ezakimak 11,053 Full Moon Challenge racers as they cross the finish line. Enjoy indoor/outdoor fun for the whole family with music, food and drinks, kids activities and more.

Laps through the Terrain Parks

The official training grounds for the US Freeski and Snowboarding teams, Unbound Terrain Parks are world renowned for their killer jumps and original features. Catch a lift up Thunder Bound Express to take endless sunny-day laps through Main Park and work on your park progression.

Hot Springs

Off the beaten path but still easy to find, Mammoth’s many hot springs offer an other-worldly getaway just outside of town. Surrounded on all sides by the Sierra and White Mountains, fresh-water tubs reaching upwards of 110 degrees sit nestled in the valley floor. The pools are open to the public 24-7, but we’d get in trouble if we told you exactly where they were. Strike up conversation with a friendly local to find your secret natural spa.

Ladies who Spring

There are tons of lady-focused events (but open to everyone) to check out on-hill this spring. Push past your performance plateau in a private terrain park and sign up for the Oakley Progression Sessions, led by professional coaches. Then Shred the Love at Boarding for Breast Cancer’s annual Lap-a-Thon, complete with morning yoga sessions and huge giveaways.

Take a Top-to-Bottom Bikini Run

You don't have to gear up in Gore-Tex all year around. Get in your Spring Break state of mind at Mammoth and throw on your best pool-side kit to get up to the mountain. Catch a tan and take laps from top-to-bottom. Afterwards, stop by the Main Lodge sundeck for a refresher - then it's back out on the hill.

Après at Main Lodge Sun Deck

There’s no better place to grab a drink and watch all the action go down than the sun deck at Main Lodge. Featuring live music, a lunch grill and a full-working bar, the deck at Main Lodge enjoys all-day sunshine and a view of all the excitement in the park and beyond. Sit back and relax with your drink of choice with sun and a smile.

UNTZ Party at Yodler

Not to be put down by Main Lodge sun deck, The Yodler brings home Austrian flare and a fun-filled Saturday afternoon with its weekly UNTZ party. Mixing the latest in EDM and pop beats, the UNTZ party is another exciting way to spend an afternoon on the mountain.

Get a Photo with Woolly

Woolly is the most popular pachyderm in Mammoth. Whether it’s a sunny day on the hill or dumping snow, Woolly does it all. Catch your furry friend ripping on a snowboard or skis, tubing, and even dancing all over the mountain. Snag a selfie or get the group shot and watch the likes roll in.

See you on the hill.
