Career

Hotel Operations

Greets, registers Guests, and sells rooms available in inventory. Monitors Hotel activity, serving as Manager-on-Duty overnight. More

Reconciles daily cash receipts and summary sheets of all hotel departments. Balances income revenue accounts for profit centers for hotel. Responsible for coordination of any emergency situations. Pay is $10.62 per hour, plus an extra $2 per hour for the audit shifts, which run through the night.  Typical schedule is 11pm to 7am.

Typical workweek includes several night shifts with the possibility of additional day shifts for the right candidate.

 

 

Requirements

High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills required. Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service. Minimum three months experience as a bookkeeper and/or auditor.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Fabricate new parts and repair parts and equipment under direct supervision. More

Requirements

High Scool Diploma or equivalent. 

Mechanically inclined.

Able to use a tape measure using Metric, English, and decimal scales.

Knowledge and experience with basic hand and power tools such as grinder, drill, air tools, wrench, and hammer. 

Competent in ARC and MIG welding.

Knowledge and experience with hand and automated saws.

Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the enterprise Server/Network infrastructure. More

NOTE: this position is based at the resort, in Big Bear Lake, due to the operational nature of the work.  We will most likely not be filling this opening until sometime in August 2015. 

This includes Windows Servers in a VMware Environment, switches, routers, SAN (Storage Attached Network), firewalls, VPN, web servers, system health, backups and data recovery. Will also need to support production systems, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices as necessary.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, maintain, and support VMware / SAN cluster and related Virtual Machines.
  • Configure, maintain, and support several Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 environments including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP.
  • Proactive patch Management for Windows Servers, VMware, EMC, and all related network hardware.
  • Configuration and maintenance of Sonicwall firewalls, Dell switching equipment, HP/Cisco routing equipment.
  • Provide hardware and software troubleshooting across the enterprise.
  • Monitor server and application workloads and performance, adjust environments as necessary to ensure proper performance of POS and back office applications.
  • Review, maintain, and configure security policies across the enterprise to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and update infrastructure documentation (VMware, servers, network diagrams, process flows).
  • Work with I.T. team to develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Analyze, design, and improve I.T. infrastructure. Recommend system changes and enhancements.
  • Support of core Point of Sale systems which include Siriusware, RetailStar, and EZWaiver.
  • Administration of user accounts across numerous systems (Windows, Email, POS Systems, VPN Access etc).
  • Support of Microsoft Office Environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, et al).
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software (including licensing counts and hardware counts). Keep internal documentation up to date including processes, procedures, and network diagrams.
  • Support and installation of network infrastructure including switches, routers, access points, public and private WIFI network, lift access WIFI network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (I.E. MIS, I.T., Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience configuring and supporting an enterprise VMware environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting a Windows Server 2008/2012 domain environment including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS Deployment Tools.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 and related technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience installing and supporting Windows XP, 7, 8 operating system in a Windows Server environment.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Deployment Tools, Spiceworks or other help desk system, Microsoft System Center.
  • Must be able to work weekends on a seasonal basis and after hours when required.
  • Must be able to travel between our 2 locations (Snow Summit and Bear Mountain).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail, and timeliness.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS a plus!
  • MCSE Certification a plus!

Provides a high level of technical expertise in Information Security planning, research, design, and implementation. More

Constantly reviews company Information Security posture and risk, recommending and implementing courses of action to continuously adapt to emerging threats and attacks.

Manages PCI Compliance efforts through research of requirements, identifying gaps in the IT environment, and remediating through implementation of technical controls.  Manages security posture by monitoring vulnerability scanning and attacks, blocking and/or reporting to responsible individuals, and working alongside Information Systems Administrators to validate and remediate vulnerabilities.

Communicates complex Information Security concepts to staff of varying technical levels.  Reviews and updates security standards on a regular basis to address new threats, new industry practices, and to incorporate new technologies.

 

Requirements

College degree in job-related field or equivalent experience and industry certifications.

5+ years of experience and proven ability in the Information Security field.

Experience with PCI compliance or other relevant IT regulatory compliance.
