Hotel Operations

Administers and oversees all aspects of hotel housekeeping operations. More

Coordinates activities with other key departments in hotel to ensure the highest quality of service and hospitality. Motivates staff to the highest level of efficiency and productivity. Responsible for financial, employee, and guest service goals of the department.

Requirements

Four year college degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality hotel supervising a housekeeping staff of at least 20 employees.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Occasional lifting of heavy objects. Position requires ability to work while standing the majority of the day. Must be able to read service manuals and prepare written documentation on repairs and service performed. Strong verbal communication skills and mathematical ability required for various calculations and calibrations.

Schedules vary, and will include swing shifts for the winter season.

Must have an in-depth knowledge of the ski and snowboard school business model. PSIA/AASI examiner or trainer and preferably hold ski and snowboard qualifications through PSIA/AASI or an ISIA recognized snow sports nation.

Resort Services

Supports and maintains the Mammoth corporate web sites and web applications. More

Under the direction of the VP of IT, the .Net Developer is part of a development team whose primary responsibilities is to support and maintain Mammoth's corporate websites and web applications interfacing with backend enterprise applications systems.

This individual will provide sustaining support for existing applications, develop future web based solutions, and work with internal business partners to troubleshoot and develop custom programs to automate manual business processes.

Specific duties include:

  • Participates in projects that support the implementation of web-based applications in collaboration with internal business partners.
  • Develops web based solutions in C#, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Visual Studio On-line, and SQL Server.
  • Maintains existing web applications.
  • Develops web sites on an existing Content Management System (Sitefinity).
  • Manages smaller projects by meeting with users, setting expectations, and communicating project status; works with the users to define scope of work and resource requirements; analyze requests for feasibility and propose alternatives for meeting user’s needs.
  • Works with the IS technical team to evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions for web content development and delivery.

Mammoth is seeking an experienced Guest Service professional to manage the Mammoth Black program.

The Mammoth Black office acts as point of contact for members and as the liaison between the members and all other company departments, including but not limited to transportation, lodging, dining, ski & snowboard school, demos, Parallax and access to special events and activities.
