Hotel Operations

Assists the General Manager in the operation of the rooms division at the Tamarack Lodge & Resort. More

Primary functions include the daily management of the front office operations, guest service, room/cabin rentals and yield, and reservations, and assisting housekeeping coordination.

Responsibilities include employee training, motivation and discipline according to company policies. Must enjoy providing superior customer service and have attention to detail required for a boutique lodging establishment.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent experience. Two to three years experience in front office and/or reservation departments.

Minimum of two years hospitality supervisory experience required, with management experience in the hotel industry preferred.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts, under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Resort Services

Supports and maintains the Mammoth corporate web sites and web applications. More

Under the direction of the VP of IT, the .Net Developer is part of a development team whose primary responsibilities is to support and maintain Mammoth's corporate websites and web applications interfacing with backend enterprise applications systems.

This individual will provide sustaining support for existing applications, develop future web based solutions, and work with internal business partners to troubleshoot and develop custom programs to automate manual business processes.

Specific duties include:

  • Participates in projects that support the implementation of web-based applications in collaboration with internal business partners.
  • Develops web based solutions in C#, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Visual Studio On-line, and SQL Server.
  • Maintains existing web applications.
  • Develops web sites on an existing Content Management System (Sitefinity).
  • Manages smaller projects by meeting with users, setting expectations, and communicating project status; works with the users to define scope of work and resource requirements; analyze requests for feasibility and propose alternatives for meeting user’s needs.
  • Works with the IS technical team to evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions for web content development and delivery.
  • Performs other related duties or special projects as directed.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires bachelor's degree in information systems-related field.

Four (4) or more years of professional experience in web application development.

Experience in developing solutions using HTML, HTML5, C#, Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Visual Studio On-Line, and Structured Query language (SQL).

The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong application development skills and database design for web applications, have a proven record of successful design and implementation of custom web applications.

Oversees the efficient operation of the Administration Office. More

Provides professional and friendly access to executive management staff and work products associated with the administration office.

Adheres to the standards of the Administration Office for organization, supply inventories, equipment maintenance, meeting coordination, and correspondence.  Assists with projects of the department, including charitable contributions, and provides daily updates to the department director.

NOTE: this is a Career Seasonal position.

 

Requirements

High school degree with at least two years experience in a business office environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Assists in day-to-day general accounting functions related to recreational, retail,  and food and beverage activities. More

Prepare, document, review journal entries, maintain the general ledger and fixed asset system, and assist in the management of the month end closing process.

Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.  Prepare financial statements, analysis and monthly budget variance write-up for management and external users, as well as assist in the management of the year-end financial audit.

NOTE: this is a "mid-level" opportunity on The Team, compensation in the $55 - 60K range, depending upon experience.

 

Requirements

BS degree in accounting or equivalent.  Minimum of 2 to 4 years combined audit and industry experience.

CPA preferred but not required.  Comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.  Proficient in GAAP.

Strong PC skills (MS Office) and experience with G/L accounting programs preferred.  Strong organizational skills.  Motivated personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsible for the management of Mammoth Mountain's Retail Division, its financial growth and all operations. More

Responsibilities include multi-store management, new business development, overseeing the purchasing, merchandising, and inventory distribution and control.

Minimum 10 years retail management experience, preferably in outdoor retail, with multi store operations, and experience in buying, distribution, visual presentation and retail finance.

Strong retail product knowledge for a variety of categories including but not limited to hard goods, outerwear, casual wear, logo wear, footwear, goggles, gloves, helmets, and summer outdoor active.   Additional experience required in resort retail with sharp visit fluctuations between high and low season demand periods.

* Minimum 10 years Retail Management experience, preferably in outdoor retail, with multi store operations, and experience in buying, distribution, visual presentation and retail finance.

* Experience in resort retail with sharp visit fluctuations between high and low season demand periods.

Responsible for managing and mentoring the performance of a team of 10-15 vacation specialists in our multi-channel contact center. More

Functions as one of the three Managers on Duty, overseeing the day-to-day operations on the call center floor, ensuring excellent guest service through adherence to a given set of performance standards and measures.

Serves as the initial point of contact for all escalated calls and other special requests.
