Career

Hotel Operations

Maintains physical condition of properties assigned. More

Performs repairs in carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, and flooring. Performs general building and grounds maintenance.

This individual will work a PM shift, during afternoons and evenings.

 

Requirements

High school graduate with two years trade school in building maintenance or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years experience in commercial building maintenance with expertise in one or more of the following: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.

Assists the Front Office Manager in all aspects of managing the Tamarack Lodge & Resort.  More

Supervises the front office staff and guest service staff.

Represents the management in solving guest concerns. Performs the duties of the Front Office Manager in their absence.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in front office and/or reservation departments.

Minimum of 6 to 12 months supervisory experience. Strong working knowledge of business software.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Resort Services

Responsible for the management of Mammoth Mountain's Retail Division, its financial growth and all operations. More

Responsibilities include multi-store management, new business development, overseeing the purchasing, merchandising, and inventory distribution and control.

Minimum 10 years retail management experience, preferably in outdoor retail, with multi store operations, and experience in buying, distribution, visual presentation and retail finance.

Strong retail product knowledge for a variety of categories including but not limited to hard goods, outerwear, casual wear, logo wear, footwear, goggles, gloves, helmets, and summer outdoor active.   Additional experience required in resort retail with sharp visit fluctuations between high and low season demand periods.

Requirements

* Minimum 10 years Retail Management experience, preferably in outdoor retail, with multi store operations, and experience in buying, distribution, visual presentation and retail finance.

* Experience in resort retail with sharp visit fluctuations between high and low season demand periods.

*Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to handle concurrent tasks.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse types of people.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Computer literate and familiarity with network needs, POS Systems and Reporting.

* Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment with unexpected changes to priorities.
