Food & Beverage

Responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of a Starbucks store. More

Store managers are responsible for ensuring that the Starbucks “Service Experience” is consistently provided for all customers, quality store operations are maintained, store is lead in a positive manner, and financial contribution is maximized.

This position requires customary and regular exercise of independent judgment and discretionary powers in the day-to-day performance of job duties, and ensures the Company’s policies are implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, staffing, developing, training, coaching and supervising employees as well as managing each assigned store’s daily operations while maintaining budgeted goals and expectations.

Requirements

A minimum of two years experience in the coffee business.

A minimum of two years experience in managing or supervising in the guest service industry. Knowledge and experience in snow sports is a plus.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts, under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Resort Services

Supports and maintains the Mammoth corporate web sites and web applications. More

Under the direction of the VP of IT, the .Net Developer is part of a development team whose primary responsibilities is to support and maintain Mammoth's corporate websites and web applications interfacing with backend enterprise applications systems.

This individual will provide sustaining support for existing applications, develop future web based solutions, and work with internal business partners to troubleshoot and develop custom programs to automate manual business processes.

Specific duties include:

  • Participates in projects that support the implementation of web-based applications in collaboration with internal business partners.
  • Develops web based solutions in C#, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Visual Studio On-line, and SQL Server.
  • Maintains existing web applications.
  • Develops web sites on an existing Content Management System (Sitefinity).
  • Manages smaller projects by meeting with users, setting expectations, and communicating project status; works with the users to define scope of work and resource requirements; analyze requests for feasibility and propose alternatives for meeting user’s needs.
  • Works with the IS technical team to evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions for web content development and delivery.
  • Performs other related duties or special projects as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires bachelor's degree in information systems-related field.

Four (4) or more years of professional experience in web application development.

Experience in developing solutions using HTML, HTML5, C#, Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Visual Studio On-Line, and Structured Query language (SQL).

The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong application development skills and database design for web applications, have a proven record of successful design and implementation of custom web applications.

Administers industrial and environmental permits; ensures industrial, environmental and regulatory compliance. More

Under the general supervision of higher level staff, this position administers industrial and environmental permits; ensures industrial, environmental and regulatory compliance for federal, state and local requirements.

Provides personnel training regarding industrial, environmental and regulatory compliance; tracks industrial environmental laws and regulations; and acts as a contact for regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geology, or related sciences, or Engineering, with emphasis on environmental or hazardous material management.

Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of facilities; environmental issues, laws, and regulations applicable to integrated businesses such as MMSA; definitions and classifications of hazardous waste and hazardous materials plus their handling and tracking; methods of data analysis, report preparation and procedure writing.

Possess a Grade I Environmental Compliance Inspector Certificate issued by the California Water Environment Association or ability to obtain.  Possess a Grade I Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate issued by the State Water Resources Control Board or ability to obtain. Possess a Grade I Water Treatment Operator Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health or ability to obtain. Possess a Grade I Water Distribution Operator Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health or ability to obtain. 

Experience in industrial risk management, hazardous waste and environmental compliance. Experience in RCRA related facility compliance issues, specifically the development and implementation of policies. Possess a Hazardous Materials Certification or ability to obtain.  Current OSHA 40 hour training certification in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120 or ability to obtain. Class B or above UST/AST Operator certification or ability to obtain. Current DOT HM-181 and 126F training certification or ability to obtain. 

Experience with personal computers including word processing, spreadsheet applications and preventative maintenance programs.  GIS experience desired. 

Current California drivers' license. 

Demonstrated ability in analytical, verbal, and written communication skills for technical and non-technical individuals. Ability to analyze and evaluate data and use good judgment in making decisions.  Ability to do problem solving using creative solutions. Ability to effectively manage the workload including planning, organizing, prioritizing, follow-up, meeting deadlines, and paying close attention to details. Ability to work effectively as a team player. 

Ability to respond to environmental emergencies on an on-call basis.

Responsible for the management of Mammoth Mountain's Retail Division, its financial growth and all operations. More

Responsibilities include multi-store management, new business development, overseeing the purchasing, merchandising, and inventory distribution and control.

Minimum 10 years retail management experience, preferably in outdoor retail, with multi store operations, and experience in buying, distribution, visual presentation and retail finance.

Strong retail product knowledge for a variety of categories including but not limited to hard goods, outerwear, casual wear, logo wear, footwear, goggles, gloves, helmets, and summer outdoor active.   Additional experience required in resort retail with sharp visit fluctuations between high and low season demand periods.
