Food & Beverage

Oversees dining room operations at the Mountainside Grill, located in the Mammoth Mountain Inn. More

Ideal candidate has wait-staff experience and the ability to oversee smooth operations in a dining environment.

This position can evolve into a full-time / year-round job, and is an excellent opportunity for advancement within the Levy Restaurant group.

Schedules vary, with emphasis on breakfast and dinner during our Summer schedule.

Requirements

Guest service experience required. Strong English-language conversational skills. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a fine dining environment.

Hotel Operations

Maintains physical condition of properties assigned. More

Performs repairs in carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, and flooring. Performs general building and grounds maintenance.

This individual will work a PM shift, during afternoons and evenings.

 

Requirements

High school graduate with two years trade school in building maintenance or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years experience in commercial building maintenance with expertise in one or more of the following: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.

Maintains physical condition of mechanical systems for The Tamarack Lodge. More

Performs repairs in carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical and flooring. Performs general building and grounds maintenance. Will interact with public while performing general duties.

Requirements

High school graduate with two years of trade school in building maintenance or equivalent experience.

Minimum two years experience in commercial building maintenance with expertise in one or more of the following; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs. Must have good customer relation skills.

Greets, registers Guests, and sells rooms available in inventory. Monitors Hotel activity, serving as Manager-on-Duty overnight. More

Reconciles daily cash receipts and summary sheets of all hotel departments. Balances income revenue accounts for profit centers for hotel. Responsible for coordination of any emergency situations. Pay is $10.62 per hour, plus an extra $2 per hour for the audit shifts, which run through the night.  Typical schedule is 11pm to 7am.

Typical workweek includes several night shifts with the possibility of additional day shifts for the right candidate.

 

 

Requirements

High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills required. Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service. Minimum three months experience as a bookkeeper and/or auditor.

Outside Operations

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician. More

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Resort Services

Responsible for selling and servicing catering events and weddings as well as groups with lodging. More

This individual works closely with Mammoth's Sales, Venue and Food and Beverage Managers.

Job duties include cold calling prospective clients, menu planning, agenda setting, hotel meeting services, and coordination of hospitality amenities. Duties also include proposal writing, contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with hotel and resort staff to ensure a high level of service.

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years of hotel sales, catering or conference services or comparable experience required. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, both Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates should be extremely personable, detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast paced environment.

Provides a high level of technical expertise in Information Security planning, research, design, and implementation. More

Constantly reviews company Information Security posture and risk, recommending and implementing courses of action to continuously adapt to emerging threats and attacks.

Manages PCI Compliance efforts through research of requirements, identifying gaps in the IT environment, and remediating through implementation of technical controls.  Manages security posture by monitoring vulnerability scanning and attacks, blocking and/or reporting to responsible individuals, and working alongside Information Systems Administrators to validate and remediate vulnerabilities.

Communicates complex Information Security concepts to staff of varying technical levels.  Reviews and updates security standards on a regular basis to address new threats, new industry practices, and to incorporate new technologies.

 

Requirements

College degree in job-related field or equivalent experience and industry certifications.

5+ years of experience and proven ability in the Information Security field.

Experience with PCI compliance or other relevant IT regulatory compliance.
