This includes Windows Servers in a VMware Environment, switches, routers, SAN (Storage Attached Network), firewalls, VPN, web servers, system health, backups and data recovery. Will also need to support production systems, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices as necessary.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, maintain, and support VMware / SAN cluster and related Virtual Machines.
  • Configure, maintain, and support several Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 environments including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP.
  • Proactive patch Management for Windows Servers, VMware, EMC, and all related network hardware.
  • Configuration and maintenance of Sonicwall firewalls, Dell switching equipment, HP/Cisco routing equipment.
  • Provide hardware and software troubleshooting across the enterprise.
  • Monitor server and application workloads and performance, adjust environments as necessary to ensure proper performance of POS and back office applications.
  • Review, maintain, and configure security policies across the enterprise to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and update infrastructure documentation (VMware, servers, network diagrams, process flows).
  • Work with I.T. team to develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Analyze, design, and improve I.T. infrastructure. Recommend system changes and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (I.E. MIS, I.T., Computer Science) or equivalent experience.

Creates and delivers an extraordinary equipment rental experience for our Guests in a fast-paced and FUN environment.

As a technician you will be renting bikes to the guest, which involves sizing and fitting bikes and protective equipment, providing guests with an overview on how to correctly operate the bike, accurately recording information and signatures, determine guests ability so we can make appropriate trail recommendations. 

Technicians will be responsible for checking bikes in at the end of the guest ride and servicing them so they are ready for the next rental.

Acts as a dispatcher and recorder for the department. This is a non-skiing, indoors position.

Requirements

Performs First Aid room duties at any of the First Aid rooms. Room attendant candidates must have current American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response, EMT-1, WFR (Wilderness First Responder) or Outdoor Emergency Care (NSP) and current certification for CPR (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers). You must be at least twenty-one years of age.

Proof of current First Aid and CPR certifications are required prior to hiring on or about Thanksgiving 2015. (Please bring original cards, photo copies are not accepted).

Cards need to be valid at all times during the season (if your card will expire, you must re-certify prior to expiration.)

There are no part-time positions in this department and room attendants generally work full-time schedules, 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Mammoth Mountain Ski Patroller for the Winter of 2015-16.   Please consider the following information prior to applying for this position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Advanced level of Alpine Skiing (sorry no Telemark Skiing or Snowboarding), training in slope-specific first aid, hill safety, Avalanche control and Mammoth Mt. Operations.

Requirements

Patrol candidates must have current American Red Cross Emergency Response, EMT-1 or Outdoor Emergency Care (NSP) and current certification for CPR (Professional), including:

 (1) Rescuer adult, infant & child;  
 (2) Rescuer CPR.

You must be at least twenty-one years of age and have advanced alpine skiing ability.  Ski Patrollers are hired from this group.  Employment will be contingent on skiing ability.

Provides safe, fun and interesting training for snowboarders of all ages. More

Works with other coaches to design, implement, evaluate and adjust season-long training and competition plans.

Teaches by example with frequent demonstrations. Maintains accurate daily journal of training activities. Maintains frequent contact with parents on athletic, behavioral and academic issues. Assists in team trips to other areas for competitions where appropriate. Promotes MMSST Team Philosophy and acts as role model for athletes.

Requirements

AASI Level 2 Certification or equivalent, or,  USSA/USASA Level 100, 200, 300 preferred. Two seasons working with snowboarders in a coaching program or previous snowboard competition experience preferred.

High School graduate and fluent in English language. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team structure with other coaches and training groups. Must possess the ability to demonstrate basic freestyle snowboarding tricks and freeriding techniques.

Basic computer skills required and experience with Word, Exel and Google Docs programs

Sets up and tears down timing equipment for a variety of race events, runs the equipment and times the actual events. More

Is responsible for the accuracy and precision of all timing data.

Produces timing reports and results for all USSA/FIS sanctioned events Maintains and fixes all types timing equipment and the wiring system.

Assists in all other aspects of event/race production as needed, setting up gates, banners,  removes any obstacles during the event. Tears down gates, fencing, signage etc. as required at the close of the day or the end of race events.

On the job training and supervision by a very experienced timing technician will be provided and is part of the job.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent experience.  Computer literate, highly organized, accurate, precision and a strong math background a must.

Ability to effectively communicate with race officials, coaching staff and racers.

Knowledge of race procedures and regulations desirable. Good skiing or snowboarding skills required.

Ability to do general repairs on timing equipment and an electronics background strongly desirable.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalency is required. Previous sales and/or reservation experience and knowledge of the Mammoth Lakes area are preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and other Windows-based programs and familiarity with web-browsing software are helpful. As a prerequisite, candidates must have a strong command of the English language with emphasis on proper grammar and pronunciation and understandability, specifically while using the telephone.
