Tamarack Update:

This is the update for Wednesday, March 10, 2010.  The skiing is fantastic, folks!  All of our trails are groomed and open.  And don't forget about our sale in the sport shop on all of our soft goods.  All jackets, hats, gloves, socks, etc are 30% off.

Our third annual Winter Biathlon is fast apporaching.  It will be on Sunday, March 28.  Go to esnsa.org to sign up (click on "biathlon" and then on "registration").  This is going to be a very fun weekend, with a ski clinic on Saturday, March 27 and a shooting clinic that same evening, at the ski museum.  There will also be pizza and beer!  (Really, how could it get any better?!)  Find details for these events on that same website (esnsa.org).

Other events to look forward to:

  • April 4 - The Mammoth Marathon - 26 mile and 13 mile options, come to Tamarack to sign up
  • April 11 - Tour de Taste - good food and drink in a heavenly setting.

If you'd like to brush up on your skills and perhaps ski just a little bit faster, now would be a good time to schedule a private skate lesson.  All of our lessons are in operation, with beginner lessons at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm and beginner skate lessons at noon each day.  Call us to sign up.  We also have private lessons with Olympian Nancy Fiddler or with our other talented instructors.  Our Avalanche and Glider programs for children are in full swing.

For all you MVP members the activity pass for Tamarack XC Ski Center can be added on at any time, and the prices are the same as last year! Adults are only $220 Seniors 65-79 and youths 13-18 are $165 Children 7-12 are $110
