Opening Day for Winter 2009/10

Mammoth Mountain is Opening Saturday, November 7th!

Mammoth is opening almost a week ahead of schedule, so make your plans to visit us this weekend.  Its time to get in some early season turns, great times and enough of both to make your friends green with envy.  We'll have Chair 1 open with at least two runs available, with plans to open more terrain as weather permits.

Can't make it this weekend?  The opening festivities continue onto next week with our Big Winter Kickoff.  Starting Thursday, November 12th, there will be loads of ski and snowboard movie screenings, great parties, live music by Shiny Toy Guns and the world premiere of Hot Laps, a full length snowboard film shot exclusively at Mammoth.

Businesses in Main Lodge will be open as well, with rental (8am-4pm daily), retail shops (8am-4pm daily), Broadway Marketplace (7:30am-2:30pm daily) and Tusks Bar (11am-5pm). The Yodler and Ski School is closed until further notice and there is no bus service planned at this time.

At Mammoth Mountain Inn, the Mountainside Grill will serve breakfast (6am-10am) and dinner (6pm-9pm) daily; Dry Creek Bar features a daily a la carte dinner menu (5pm-9pm) and the Sierra General Store is open everyday (7am-11am and 5pm-9pm).

Lakefront at Tamarack is open for dinner (5:30pm-9:30pm) daily and reservations are strongly recommended.
