    Today's Report

    Snow showers are expected today bringing a little bit of snow to add to our recent 2 feet! Conditions are exceptional with great skiing and riding. This week is loaded with fun events like the start of The Olympics, President’s Day, Mardi Gras parties and don’t forget Valentine’s Day ideas like Mammoth’s Snowcat Dinner Tours! Make sure to check out the parties at the Mammoth Bars and join the scene!

    The 9am temp at Main Lodge was 19 degrees with 5 mph winds. Up at the summit, the temp was 12 degrees with 20 mph winds. All lifts are expected to operate today; wind and weather permitting, except for Chair 20. Lifts are open daily from 8:30am to 4pm servicing a base depth of 8-12'. The Village Gondola will also be open from 8am until 5pm. Remember that obstacles do exist so please ride with caution.

    With terrain features for all levels of freestyle riders, the challenge is just right to help you progress!

    It takes plenty of time on the snow to get freeriding skills down. Three days with an instructor in a small group is an ideal place to learn the techniques required to ride the halfpipe, jumps and jibs found in Mammoth Mountain’s famous terrain parks. The Unbound crew builds their world class parks with progression in mind, and progression is a key component of the Parks and Pipes Camp. Different parks are used for different rider needs - start on the easy features to learn a new trick, then move progressively up to the bigger features. You'll have the tricks wired and before you know it you'll be sailing off the monster features that the pros are hitting. With terrain features for all levels of freestyle riders we can customize the challenge just right and help you progress to the bigger features at your own pace
