The 2pm temp at Main Lodge was 49 degrees with 4 mph winds. Up at the summit, the temp was 37 degrees with 2 mph winds. All lifts are expected to operate today, wind and weather permitting, except for Chair 20. Lifts are open daily from 8:30am to 4pm servicing a base depth of 10-14.5’. To get a message sent right to your phone on up to date open, expected and temporary weather hold lifts, text “LIFTS” to 20123. Remember that obstacles do exist so please ride with caution.

The 6th annual Roxy Chicken Jam will take place at Mammoth Mountain on March 25-28 and will again decide the TTR Women's World Champion. The total prize purse for the Slopestyle and Superpipe competitions is a massive $50,000. There will be an additional prize purse of $6,000 for the highliy anticipated 3rd annual Mascot Superpipe Competition and the Quiksilver Cluck-Off Big Air Invitational. Join in the 3rd annual Mammoth Winter Biathlon at Tamarack!
This historic event, which has its roots in Scandinavian, European and North American militaries, combines raw physical endurance and acute mental focus into one exceptionally challenging race. The sport of Biathlon has gained worldwide popularity at the recreational, World Cup and Olympic levels and now this is your chance to be part of it! Join in one of the pre-race clinics on Saturday March 27 and get ready for for the big race on Sunday March 28! No prior shooting experience necessary. All participants should have basic cross country skiing skills.
Saturday March 27: Pre-Event Clinics
The Eastern Sierra Nordic Ski Association is running two pre-event clinics. Participants will learn rifle safety, shooting skills, and transition skills from skiing to shooting and from shooting to skiing.- Morning Clinic: 9am-11am (Registration 7:45am-8:30am at Lakefront
- Lakefront Restaurant Lunch Hours: 11:00am-2:00pm
- Afternoon Clinic: 1pm-3pm (Registration 11:45am-12:30pm at Lakefront)
- Adult Clinic Fee $50 (ages 20+); Junior Clinic Fee $38 (ages 8-19).
- *Fees include a daily trail pass for the Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center, instruction, range use, rifle and ammunition.
