  • Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam Championships

The Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam Championships return to Mammoth!
    April 21

    Main Lodge

The Volcom PBRJ spent another season touring North America with qualifier stops, and picked up the top five rail riders from each resort, as well as the winners of the European and Global series. Now, the best of the best come to Mammoth to duke it out for the ultimate championship and a piece of the $20,000 cash purse.

Now in it's eleventh season, the Volcom PBRJ is a proving ground for the best up-and-coming snowboarders in the world. Mammoth Unbound also uses this annual event as a chance to flex its muscles in creative feature creation, setting up an envelope-pushing course every year.

This popular amateur snowboard contest has been running for eleven years and presents a fresh "jam style" format for riders. Three park features dug in side-by-side to create a "rail zone" for the riders to hit as many times as they like within their twenty minute set. Riders are judged on the difficulty and style of their tricks and their best two scores make up their final result.

Grab a beverage and watch the action from the Sundeck, or get even closer to the action along the fences that line the course. This show is not one to be missed!
