The 2012 Rossignol Summer Race Camp is an experience designed for all levels of ability, from the recreational racer to the seasoned expert. Rossignol brings to this camp a staff of world class coaches from around the country, well versed in all modern ski and race techniques, training programs, and theory.
Participants will receive intensive individual attention in slalom and giant slalom courses, free skiing and extensive daily video tape analysis. With morning, afternoon and evening activities, racers receive an experience that will improve their level of competitive as well as recreational skiing.
Ski Training
Camp session consists of 7 days of on snow training. Your day starts with warm-up exercises and free skiing, and then it's on to slalom or giant slalom training courses and exercises. A race with timing and awards will be held at the end of the session.
Video Analysis
Visual feedback plays a key role in improving each camp participant's skiing ability. Every camper will be filmed and analyzed daily during their stay at the camp.
Afternoon Activities
In addition to intensive work in ski related areas, many afternoon activities are scheduled, weather permitting. Opportunities include weight training, aerobics, tennis, volleyball, hiking, biking, golf & soccer. For a small fee, you will have access to the beautiful Snow Creek Athletic Club. Mountain bike rentals are available.

Connecting Women Through Film
LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. This season, our program of nine films - filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor - will travel to over 150 cities and screen in front of 20,000 people. Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFESTs to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits.
Join us on Saturday evening for a viewing of Luna's Films in the Village at Mammoth! The fun begins at 7:30pm with a welcome by two-time Olympian Stacey Cook and Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation Executive Director, Stacy Corless. There will be great raffle prizes, outdoor seating in the plaza and a firepit. The outdoor event is free and open to everyone. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit MMCF.
Support Mammoth High School's Baseball Team and participate in their annual golf fundraiser.
Entry fee is $100 includes lunch and entertainment, 18-holes, cart and range balls. There will be awesome raffle prizes, too!
