Ever since Ansel Adams first brought its magnificent landscape to
the public eye, our neighbor to the north, Yosemite National Park,
has inspired people and drawn visitors from around the globe. Less
than an hour away, Mammoth is the ideal launch pad for your
national park adventure
Mammoth fishing is world class and if you haven't experienced it
yet, you're missing out. A wide variety of healthy mountain trout
are waiting for you collection of pristine lakes and rivers that
run through it.
Aspiring climbers of all ages can test their mettle against the
giant climbing rock — the staff will teach you the ropes
and get you started on the rock. With routes from easy to nearly
impossible, climbers of all skill levels can challenge themselves
on this high-altitude rock.
At 8,000 feet above sea level, Sierra Star Golf Course is the
highest golf course in California, allowing you to add yards to
your drive. And with snow-capped peaks in every direction, winding
mountain streams, lush wildflowers, fairways lined with Jeffrey
pines and towering red firs and the occasional white-tailed deer
– you won't find a more stunning golf course anywhere.
The majesty of Red's Meadow and Devil's Postpile National Monument
lie just over the shoulder of Mammoth Mountain in the San
Joaquin River Valley.
Experience the majesty of the Sierra the way cowboys and explorers
