Pipes

The Unbound Terrain Parks at Mammoth Mountain – 3 Pipes
High standards.
Mammoth Mountain is the only resort in North America to offer three different-sized halfpipes. Adding an enhanced snowmaking system in 2008 that uses recycled pipes has directed even more snow to the Main Park area where our two large-scale halfpipes reside. This environmentally-friendly approach enables earlier season openings than ever before. Mammoth Mountain's famous Super Pipe is typically open from December through May, making us one of the longest-season pipe riding resorts in the world. Top-of-the-line pipe cutting snowcats, highly trained staff, consistent snow, sunny days and a long spring are reasons why the world's best pipe riders return to train year after year at Mammoth Mountain.
