The Most Open Terrain in California

Mother Nature has been slow to lend a hand to the start of winter, but rest assured Mammoth spared no expense in snowmaking efforts to ensure plenty of open terrain for your holiday vacation. Cold nighttime temperatures and our desirable elevation allow us to make snow as good as the real stuff, and our crews are working around the clock so there's fresh snow every morning. Canyon Lodge and Little Eagle Lodge are now open with full services, allowing you to enter the mountain from your favorite portal and ski anywhere— including the summit!
