The always-ripping John Jackson is a lifelong resident of the
Mammoth Lakes area, growing up just down the 395 in Crowley Lake.
He still spends plenty of time in the parks here, but when its
dumping he turns the rest of the mountain into his own freestyle
zone, dropping cliffs and carving deep. His all-out attack on the
higher elevations translated into an award-winning video part last
year and was named Snowboarder Mag's 'Snowboarder of the Year.'
