From the summer solstice to the autumnal equinox, the hotter half of the year is packed with concerts, food and wine events, fun festivals and activities for everyone. Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross - June 20-29
The oldest continuous running motocross event in the US is back. The track has changed a little over the years but the fun hasn't! Moto is the summers' best spectator sport where the energy and adrenaline are contagious. Learn more at MammothMotocross.com.
Woolly’s Summer Saturdays – Every Saturday in July and August
Join Woolly for a bike ride, music, face-painting and a parade around the Adventure Center! A must-attend kids activity for all ages, 1-2pm!
8/24 Hour Mountain Bike Endurance Race - July 19-20
The Mammoth 8/24 Hour Endurance Race is a true test of endurance. The course was designed with relatively low climbing due to a base elevation of 8,413’. The course is 95% single track with plenty of room to pass, is approx 9.5 miles long, with 850’ of elevation gain per lap, and 802’ of loss. Register here.
Kids Adventure Race - August 1-2
The Kids Adventure Games offers kids ages 6 through 14 to opportunity to experience the thrill of adventure racing. Kids learn teamwork skills, have fun and build confidence in a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience created just for them. During the race, teams of two will work together to navigate a variety of sports and problem-solving challenges. Register here.
Mammoth Festival - August 14-17
Join us for four days of wine, music and food. Start your weekend early with one of our Winemaker Dinners for an unforgettable culinary experience on Thursday. Take a scenic gondola up to the Parallax Restaurant for five gourmet courses, select vintages and a mountain sunset that will take your breath away. Or enjoy a more intimate experience at the famous Lakefront Restaurant at Tamarack Lodge. On Friday stroll the Village at Mammoth sampling wine and enjoying live music during the Village Wine Walk.
Fall Century & Gran Fondo - September 6
Chosen as a "Top-Ten Century" bike ride by Bicycling Magazine (June 2012) for its "Jaw-Dropping Vistas," and considered on-par with Levi's Gran Fondo in Santa Rosa, CA, by Road Bike Action Assistant Editor, Neil Shirley, the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo is a "Bucket-List" ride that takes you along the spectacular east side of the High Sierra with awesome views of the Sierra Nevada Range, Mono Lake and the White Mountains. Situated to the east and south of Yosemite National Park in Mono County, CA, the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo bike rides trace an amazing route through what has been called by some "the accidental national park."
