Whether you're new to the slopes or just looking to fine-tune
your technique, group lessons are a great way to develop your
skills. Our friendly instructors are extremely knowledgeable so you
progress quickly. Group lessons also serve as a great social
gathering as you explore the mountain with other students of your
same pace and ability.
Spring Lessons
Every spring, Mammoth Ski and Snowboard School moves its lower elevation operations up the mountain. Snow conditions are more consistent at higher elevation and less vulnerable to spring temperature swings, ensuring the best possible learning experience for our students.
This year’s spring transition will take place as follows:
April 7 - Last day of instruction at Eagle Lodge
All other services at Eagle Lodge—rentals and repair, food, retail, ticketing, lift access, and live entertainment—will continue. Guests staying at Juniper Springs Lodge can take the hotel shuttle to Canyon Lodge or Main Lodge for lessons.
April 21 - Last day of instruction at Canyon Lodge
All services and access to Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge close for the season on April 22.
April 22 - Discount Private Guiding and Instruction begins
End of Group Lessons. For the rest of the season, private guiding and instruction will be offered daily at the Main Lodge at heavily discounted prices. details

Adult Intermediate/Expert Group Lessons
The quickest way to break through a performance plateau! With a maximum of four students, each session is tailored to the individual needs of the skiers and riders.

MAX 4 Mountain Sessions
For intermediate and advanced skiers and riders who want to master the whole mountain. Level 3 and 4 are primarily on groomed blue runs. Level 5 is a mix of groomed and ungroomed. Level 6 is primarily ungroomed.
MAX 4 Unbound Playground Sessions
Learn to ride the Unbound Terrain Parks or dial in a particular feature or trick. Groups split by students' desired feature size and pace.

Pick up rental equipment as early as 8am - or better yet, the
afternoon prior to your lesson. We recommend arriving at the Rental
Shop at least one hour before lesson time.

Sometimes life gets in the
way of the best of plans, and that's OK. We invite you to come to
Mammoth at a later date. For cancelations more than five days prior
to arrival, you can receive a full credit for the same product OR a
full refund. Within five days, you can receive a credit for
the same product no later than 4pm the day before arrival. Credits
must be redeemed by the end of the current season. For
cancellations after 4pm, no refund or credit will be issued. We are
looking forward to assisting you in planning a future trip to
