Avoid the morning crowd! Pick up your equipment the night before you hit the slopes. Most Mammoth Rental locations close late on Friday night and open early on Saturday morning. Check out the Hours of Operation for each shop below. Ski and Snowboard School students should pick up their equipment no less than one hour before their lesson starts.


When you are in Mammoth, we want you to have as much time on the mountain as your legs will allow, which is why our rental locations are located on the slopes. That way, you never have to leave the mountain for exchanges or adjustments. Plus our rental shops provide complimentary ski storage so you can leave your skis with us overnight.

 

On Mountain

Main Lodge

8am-4:30pm daily.  Closes at 5pm on Fridays and opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Canyon Lodge

8am-5pm daily. Closes at 6pm on Fridays and opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Eagle Lodge

8am-5pm daily. Closes at 6pm on Fridays and opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Mammoth Kids (Main and Canyon)

8am-4:30pm daily. Opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Main Lodge is a full skier-services building with lockers, lift tickets, lost & found, cafeteria, repair services and more. 

  • Main Lodge Full Service Rental Shop is located on the second floor. Entry level and sport packages available for all ages.
  • Main Lodge Demo Shop is located on the second floor, offering the latest and greatest in demo ski/snowboard packages. Single item demos also available.
  • Mammoth Kids @ Main Lodge offers rental equipment for kids of all ages up to 13 years who are enrolled in lessons. Limited rentals for parents available here as well. Located across from Main Lodge in the Panorama Gondola station. 

 

Canyon Lodge is a full skier-services building and a great place for families with lockers, lift tickets, lost & found, cafeteria and more.

  • Canyon Lodge Full Service Rental Shop is located on the third floor. Entry level and sport packages available for all ages.
  • Canyon Lodge Demo Shop is located inside the Rental Shop on the third floor, offering the latest and greatest demo packages and single items.
  • Mammoth Kids @ Canyon Lodge  Ski and Snowboard School supplies rentals for kids age 4 to 13 enrolled in lessons. Located on the second floor.

 

Eagle Lodge is our most compact full skier-services facility and is conveniently located in-town.  Eagle Lodge offers lift tickets, a restaurant and bar and limited lockers.

  • Eagle Lodge Rental Shop provides Standard, Sport, and Demo rental packages for all ages. Eagle Lodge also offers basket check and ski/snowboard waxing and storage.
  • Eagle Lodge Demo Shop offers the latest and greatest in demo ski/snowboard packages. Single item demos also available.
  • Eagle Lodge Retail Shop features a boutique line of outerwear and gear.

Off Mountain / Hotels

The Mountain Center at The Village

8am-5pm daily. Closes at 6pm on Fridays and opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Juniper Springs, Mammoth Mountain Inn, Westin Monache

8am-5pm daily. Closes at 9pm on Fridays and opens at 7:30am on Saturdays.

Quiksilver

Open 10am-6pm Sun-Thurs, 10am-8pm Fri-Sat.

The Village and Canyon Lodge are connected by a quick, free ride on The Village Gondola. Open now through mid-April.

The Mountain Center @ The Village provides rentals for all ages and levels, including demo packages. This is a great location to purchase tickets, sign-up for lessons and pick up your pre-purchased rentals. You'll find us near the Dave McCoy statue.

Mammoth Rentals offers guests who are staying at various lodging properties exclusive in-hotel ski and snowboard rental shops and on-site service. Reservations are required. In-hotel rentals offer convenient and personal service.

  • Rentals for guests of Juniper Springs Lodge: Located inside the lobby.*
  • Rentals for guests of the Mammoth Mountain Inn: Located inside the lobby.*
  • Westin Monache: Located downstairs from the lobby.

 Sometimes life gets in the way of the best of plans, and that's OK. We invite you to come to Mammoth at a later date. For cancelations more than five days prior to arrival, you can receive a full credit for the same product OR a full refund.  Within five days, you can receive a credit for the same product no later than 4pm the day before arrival. Credits must be redeemed by the end of the current season. For cancellations after 4pm, no refund or credit will be issued.
