Policies and Management
Mammoth Mountain's environmental policy describes our long range commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. It is published in the employee manual and posted throughout the resort to remind employees and guests of our responsibility we share with our community and with the world.
California Climate Action Registry
We are currently finishing the documentation process so that our carbon footprint can be registered with the California Climate Action Registry. This will include verification by a third party and set a baseline for reducing impacts for the future. www.climateregistry.org
California Environmental Leadership Program
Although we missed the award cycle for this year, you can be assured that Mammoth Mountain will be working with CAL-EPA and the Governor's office to continue promotion of environmental accountability and stewardship. www.calepa.ca.gov/awards/GEELA
EPA's Green Power Partners
Similar to the California Action Registry, Mammoth Mountain is also pursuing registration with the EPA's Green Power Partners. Look for our name to be registered there by the end of the year. www.epa.gov/grnpower
