Program Initiatives:

For organizational purposes and a general understanding of the department's goals and objectives, four sub-initiatives have been identified and outlined according to areas of impact:

    Maintain a healthy, natural environment for people and wildlife by protecting and preserving local habitat.

    Extend environmental protections beyond the Eastern Sierra to consider and reduce global impacts of Mammoth's operations.

    Ensure stakeholder awareness and involvement in MMSA's environmental programs, including creating and maintaining strategic alliances with all interested parties.
